Spin Motor Error on Avantra 30E

We have a problem with our avantra 30 - when running 200lpi @ 2400dpi we get error 17 - spin motor error - but running film out @ 1800dpi is fine. I believe it is a problem with the DEC board. HELP!!!!

It is possible that the DEC Bd. could have a problem but are you seeing any other artifacts in the film like misplaced scan lines? It is possible that the Spin Motor Encoder just needs to be cleaned and realigned. The spinner speed is faster at 2400 dpi and it may not be locking in at that speed which could mean that the spinner encoder is bad and the spinner needs to be replaced. If you have reliable service, I would suggest that you have it looked at for repair.
