Stopped, UserName, "Filter" failed ––– After update to Sonoma on Mac

After updating to Sonoma, I keep getting the message 'Stopped, UserName, "Filter" failed' when I print to my HP LaserJet 5100 for Plates. Everything was working great until Sonoma. I tried Resetting the Print System, and adding the printers again, but to no avail. I do not have a backup (before Sonoma) unfortunately. Any ideas? Here is what the error log says...

The LaserJet 5100 series was released over 20 years ago so the driver is probably incompatible with the newer OS.

since macOS 13 (Ventura), Apple no longer supports PostScript (PPD) completely and in Sonoma, PS is vanished. I suspect that is where your problem lies.
