Symphony Calibrator

I am working on entering new curves into EskoArtwork Symphony Calibrator. I enter in my measurments and then save the file. When I try to open the file again, I am unable to open it in Symphony Calibrator??? The Symphony icon does not appear next to the filename, I get the grey box and if I double click to open it it opens in Text Edit. Anyone have any ideas why this might be?

Double-clicking the saved symphony file would not work. You got to open Symphony first, then select the file you want from the Sypmhony's open menu, and then open it.

But to answer your question: the reason this happens is because they have not fixed the bugs in this application, probably didn't even beta test it enough. Then... more "whys" usually follow as to why they didn't beta test it enough or fix the bugs, but it should stop at five.

So back to my question...Where are you guys saving these files.
What version of Symphony Cal are you running? What is OS version are you running?

I've never seen this issue and if I have I would be chewing esko out left and right.

The latest version to the public is 1.0.9 Build 1SY9.

Try and get info on one of the files you saved. Under the Open With choose other.. and nav your way to your SymphonyCal.. Make sure you click the Always Open With box.

Then Hit the Change All button.

If that does not work then we can look at one other thing.

I have tried that but it still doesn't work... Looks like I am not using the latest version, I am downloading it now and will let you guys know if it helps.

I had the same problem. It seems to have broken after (Nexus) 8.6 r4. I just kept that installed and used it.

It is fixed in this version... Thanks macdevin

Very good...It's strange that I never saw that issue. I went back to 1.0.5 and that version was still working for me..
