Job Description
Super Web Digital, a multimillion dollar international manufacturer of inkjet printing machinery headquartered in West Babylon, NY is seeking the best talent for a Technical Support Specialist. This position is for an overnight (9pm-6am)
Responsibilities include telephone support, remote systems support, and training. Travel is limited to 5-10%.
Responsibilities:
- Installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of computer hardware and software
- Remote and telephone system setup and support
- On-site installation and operator training
- On-site troubleshooting and repair
- Trouble ticket logging and tracking
Required Skills:
- Computer hardware and software troubleshooting
- Use of Windows operating system and MS Office
- Active, team player who can quickly and creatively solve problems
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
- Interact with customers with a high focus on customer service and professional representation of Super Web Digital
- Travel up to 25%, domestically and internationally, and rent a car
- Lift up to 25 lbs
Optional Skills:
- Experience in the printing industry, either in a pre-press or production capacity
- Computer networking ability
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite
- Knowledge of PLCs and electromechanical systems
