More companies use it than you would think, but, like Possumgal said, they are not dumb enough to actually show their customers.

Look for clues in their marketing like:

"Pin-Point Pricing", or
"Pricing that hit's the bullseye", or
"Pricing On Time, And, On Target"

Remember the Franklin system? The first printing place I worked had the book, but there were so many things in there that they thought should go into a price (like charging for storage of customer negatives) that we would never use and couldn't get away with if we tried, that it was kind of entertaining to read.
