Ultimate TechnoGraphics—imposition & finishing automation solutions—has announced Mac ARM support for Ultimate Impostrip version 2022.2 onward. The hardware change—from Intel components, replacing them with their own technology—is a huge shift for Apple.
Most recent Mac software packages can run on ARM but are not native to it. Impostrip users now have the option to run natively on ARM for faster processing, or continue to use the Intel version—both options of Impostrip are available. After running through carefully monitored testing & benchmarking cycles, the Ultimate TechnoGraphics development team measured an average productivity increase of up to 38% while running natively on ARM*.
