What is Heidelberg's solution to veritable data? Think os using PrintReady to drive another manufactures device.

I do not know what they might do with veritable data, but I think that the idea of variable data if something you do on a digital press - did you mean variable data ?

Variable proprietary solutions. (e.g. Creo’s Spire Xerox VIPP (Variable data Intelligent PostScript Printware, EFI Xerox VIPP PLUS PPML and EFI’s FreeForm, EFI Fiery EXP6000, Xerox DocuSP) not sure why Prinect Printready would offer support for Variable data.

Hey Mike,
We met once at an Appogee conference in Boston once along time ago.
We have PrintReady, we are looking at the JPress, they use XMF. I would like to stay with PrintReady for front end, but need a robust solution for "variable" data.

Well, there are several - When I worked with Rick Litrell at Magicom, we used InDesign Server and XMPie. I have talked with a few folks that liked DirectSmile
