Viper rip 192 problem

I am running a mac 0s9 using Viper rip 192 dropping PS jobs in the Hot Folder and sending to my accuset 800 for film. I am having problems with LPI when I output film. I can set a job up on the PC or a different Mac and save as a PS file 2400 DPI & 150 LPI but the film comes out
1200 DPI and it looks around 100 LPI. This never changes from ether host machine. I did find the print set up in the viper rip such as 3.1 software but still get the same output.

When I start a job the log file on the rip says 1200 dpi but does not tell me the Line per inch. I need 150.

Also when I set up or refill the cassett on the accusett 800 and manually set the panel to
"C0 600 0
200 NW " I can not change the 600 DPI to 2400 it keeps reverting back to 600

rferjo,

The control panel on the AccuSet does not control the resolution, the RIP does. The control panel only lets you cycle through to set the exposure, which by the way if you had a Harlequin RIP, the RIP would also control the exposure.

The AccuSet defaults to 1200 dpi on boot up, so you have to use either the AgfaSet utility to change it, or add code to the "user boot" file to change the resolution on boot up. You can also use the AgfaSet utility to set/lock in the dpi that you want to image.

Watch the Control Panel during imaging and it will show you what resolution it is imaging at.
