thanks for your answer but... what do you mean? If i have a bi-color offset machine, I have to put the pantone yellow ink in the two cylinders?

yes, or run it through one cylinder twice...

Please note that the 2X (double-impression) colors were discontinued by Pantone back in 2000! This makes any product displaying these colors at least 14 years old. PANTONE guides this old are unlikely to be color-accurate any longer, particularly when we are discussing fluorescent pigments. It is recommended that you request a physical sample of the color to match, or pick an alternative color that is not double-impression.

Not much to further this discussion...

1. Put Pantone Yellow Ink in your ink well.
2. Print your coated sheet.
3. Print your (same) coated sheet (again).

Sheet now has 2(two) coats/passes/hits/layers of Pantone Yellow Ink.

Pantone Yellow C2X = Pantone Yellow Ink - on C(oated Sheet) - 2(Two) - X(Times)

That is all....
