Wide Format Distributor needs help

I work for a wide format distributor and we recently launched an online store. I was hoping to get input from the end users (i.e. printers).

Do most of you buy from a distributor or do you shop online at all for your media?

If you shop online what makes you choose one site over another...price, quality, info, or it just shows up first in google)

Any info or suggestions about how to make an online wide format store useful for printers would be very much appreciated. Thanks for your time.
