Xerox 800 Rip times

Looking for input on the Xerox 800 with the Firey Rip. We are currently working with a 700 and a Creo Rip running VPS files. The rip time is pretty quick. Should we expect any delays or problems switching to Pdf's on the Firey Rip. Will the Firey be able to cache images for optimized Rip time for a Pdf?

Any concerns we shoudl have switching from Creo to Firery?

I would run a number of tests on your files... We had a 1000 with the FreeFlow and had a bunch of issues with the RIP and communication between the rip and IOT. Don't know specifically on the Fiery, but I would be leery as it is a new RIP and new Box.
