Xerox proficio px500 vs Ricoh c7500

Hi, does anyone have experience with the xerox proficio px500? I currently have a versant 4100 and am considering a change. I am looking at the Ricoh c7500 or the xerox proficio px500. I have been with xerox for 18 years, the service is okay but the business practices and poor quality of parts discourage me from continuing with them. I would appreciate any experience with the Ricoh c7500 or the xerox proficio px500. Thank you

No experience with the Proficios, but we just switched from a Xerox shop to Ricohs and I couldn't be happier. We had 2 Iridesses, and have switched to a C7500 and a C9500. Still waiting to install the 9500, but the 7500 has been awesome. Registration was perfect right out of the box without any adjustments. We were a Xerox shop since the 90s...so this was a big change for us. Never going with a Xerox device again! We are in Canada, and our local service for Xerox is slowly falling apart.

Both of these are new models, and I am more inclined towards the Ricoh C7500. Firstly, the accessories for the Ricoh C7500 are easier to find and repair
Secondly, the printing cost of Ricoh C7500 is lower than that of Xerox PX500, saving more costs
If you don't pursue the ultimate printing effect. Ricoh C7500 would be a better choice

Interesting. I'd love to hear more about this. We're in Ontario and running a Versant 280 from Xerox. Competing dealer is at the door pushing Fuji and Ricoh.

I think the Ricoh is a much higher class of machine than the PX500, but even if you decide on Xerox, I'd just buy the Fuji Revoria EC2100 since Xerox is just selling the same machine for more with their branding on it.

I have had a Ricoh 7210, planning to upgrade to the 7500 when our lease is up. Much better all around than any other copier I’ve had. It would be a really hard sell to get me to consider Xerox or Fuji again.

Hello, thank you all for sharing your experiences. I'm going to test the ricoh c7500 in about two weeks, so I'm curious to see how it goes. I'll let you know my impressions then.
