Xerox Versant 37mm dots

I'm stumped on this one.

I'm getting black dots about 37mm apart in the process/paper feed direction. 37mm indicates a BCR issue. Replaced the developer housing and developer entirely. Tried swapping drums. Checked the 1st BTR black roller for debris. I'm working out of an older tech manual though. Any thoughts?

V3100 with 6m clicks.

The distance between at least 3 consecutive defects must be measured. The edoc say you must replace the drum assy for repeating defect at 37.7 mm. Why did you replaced dev assy?

I thought "drum assy" meant the drum. I swapped the black and yellow drums temporarily and still had the issue.

Three defects are 112.4mm apart.

I am working off of a Versant 2100 PDF since I don't have an edoc laptop that is operational.

Yes on pdf version is a little more complicated to immediately find the information you need. Chapter 3, IQ4 you find the distance table in case of repetitive defects.

I have the distance table printed out and taped to the machine for fast reference. 37.6 mm states BCR (Bias Charge Roller), which is why I replaced the dev assy after drum swapping didn't work.

Sorry a little confusion. BCR is inside drum cartridge = drum assy. On developer housing = developer assembly are others rollers with different diametres.

Ah ah! It looks like I have 2 drums with the issue. thanks for the help!
