About time you read the manual. It's huge but it does explain things. Open configure input channels and check all settings in there for the corresponding hotfolders or whatever you have as inputs, time to stabilize, what to do when the file submitted errors a.s.o. Next, it's not uncommon to send in files with weird names i.e. high ascii, beginning with dot or underscore esp. if they come from a mac - the rips doesn't know how to process them and flushes them out. Pre-rip stage applications such as acrobat imposition packages etc may not comply with the file naming convention expected by the rip itself. Next, check rip monitor messages and log file on what may happen with these files disappearing. Finally, it's good practice to boot your rip server after the output device is turned on and ready as explained before. If any of the above doesn't cure the problem you may try to reinstall the rip. Follow instructions in the manual on how to use the backup.ps file in the SW directory or rebuild all your settings from scratch ideally. Take screenshots of calibration curves as they won't be backed up.
