Xitron Navigator on Windows 11 Pro

Been running Navigator-Harlequin RIP Version 8.3 on Windows XP for many years. Upgraded our computer to Windows 11 Pro and the Harlequin does not seem compatible. Is it because the software is so out dated for the new windows system? Hoping I do not have to buy new software from Xitron.

EDIT: Turned the new computer into a VM as suggested. Everything works great. Thanks for everyone's input

This problem is easily solved by turning your XP computer to a Virtual Machine and using software such as VMWare in your Win11 computer.

Thanks for any suggestions
just downgrade it back to xp, no real benefits upgrading to lastest windows for a dedicated rip station

A VM will work for that as Repro_Pro mentioned. When we had the family shop we had a couple of RIPs still running on XP. I never touched them as the price for upgrading is a lot when the old stuff still worked fine. If you have to update the computer then a VM lets you keep going without dropping a dime on a new RIP. You just might need to get a geek to get things setup which should be substantially cheaper then a new RIP.

You can Run Navigator in any windows up to windows 10, if no interfase card, you can install it on any version 32 or 64 bit. if you have to install an inteface card only on 32bit version of windows. my friend.
