Z2100 44" Printer Question

Considering buying a 44" HPZ2100 for personal photo and digital art printing. Would I be able to print 36x48 inch graphic files (Tiff, PSD or others) directly to printer without Rip or additional software?

I'd integrate a RIP unless you are going to manually flatten and rasterize everything in photoshop before you submit to the printer.

Do the research on the device. It accepts certain types of files straight off the desktop. Newer devices have some type of RIP built in. A PSD file raw has to be flattened at some point by you or the device. My guess is that you could create PDF files (print quality) and send them straight to the device with very little quality loss.
