Duplo 5000 off line feeder

I was woindering if the duplo 5000 booklet maker can be used with an simple off line feeder.
I have seen one on a 4000 system it is basically a steal plate with a start button.
It allows the machine to be hand feed.
Or can I get a duplo dc10000s collector to control it.
I have a 48 finisher that has just blown a board that is not fisable and the 5000 finisher is available now locally.
This would pull me out of a jam if I can use it as a stand alone system for now.
All help appresiated.

of which unit the 5000 unit or the 48 unit.

THe trimmer you say blew the board.

O you have miss under stood. Its not the trimmer its the first unit of the finisher which is a duplo dc 48-sh. Sticher unit.
I have put in pictures of the failed board.
The issue I have now is I can get a board of a us supplier.
By the time I pay for the board and shipping you are talking nearly $600 plus possible import fees.
It will possible be a minium of 10 working days before I see the board and the machine to be fair is in rough shape.
I have been offered a 500 / 5000 stitch fold trim system for €1000 I only need a way of starting it as the seller is keeping the tower.
I can get a good tower for it at a low cost also so my unit is not worth fixing at this point I believe.
If I could get shift and 9 on the dc10000s to switch on the 5000 system till i get a tower is what I was trying to figure out.
Also we never use our current tower so I dont really need a collator just the finisher.
