Konica Minolta Envelope Printing

I have one of my Konica machines doing the same thing. The machine was ok before I ran too many carbonless; the rollers are contaminated, evenlop is skewed out of the paper tray, and it gets wrinkled when passing the registration unit.

You can try to increase the registration loop and pre-registration loop, see if it helps, you might get inconsistent skewness after this adjustment tho.

We run many thousands of C5 100GSM closed flap on the C4080 with the regular fuser and so far, it’s not skipped a beat. Also many C6 banker envelopes, which concerned me as they have to be fed short edge to achieve minimum length, again no problems
Are you using any particular settings on your KM? I'm not familiar with the C4080 but I know several folks with the c12000 and c14000 that cannot run closed flap enlveopes without getting a crease or wrinkle or dog ear on the envleopes.

Just the envelope setting which runs at half speed
When we first ran envelopes we didn't use the envelope setting and experienced the creasing described in this thread
Bear in mind the engine & fuser are different on the C12000/C14000 to the C4070/C4080

I've ran 100k+ envelopes on this same exact machine with flaps closed.
