Xerox -v- Fuji Quality of Service (UK)

Hi All

New member here! :)

I've been with Xerox for 20+ years and have always had good service from them. And (apart from Covid period) supplies have never been throttled.

I just wondered if anyone had any experience off Fuji's service levels in the UK as I know they've only been operational in this market for a couple of years here. Xerox engineers usually arrive same day (if you phone early!) or next day at the latest and in the vast majority of cases carry enough spares to fix issues first time. Are Fuji at that same level?

The Revoria and Proficio machines are basically the same - so the decision comes down to service and cost.

Cheers
Tim

A pertinent question is will Xerox's service stay good for the life of your printer lease? Xerox has an ever dropping market cap / share price and multiple billions in debt, with huge loans maturing in 2028.

I have a fuji ec1100 and have had so far excellent service. I dont have any engineers near me (xerox were the same) so I am next day service but they are there 9am and dont leave until its resolved. No problem with spares etc and if it requires a call back due to something broken its always on a pre 10am delivery for next day.

I gave up trying to speak to the call centre however as they can barely speak English (again the same as xerox) so I just email the problem through and I get a phone call to schedule the engineer.

Im based in the north West.

Cheers
Chris

Let us know how the offers compare. I'm in Ireland & have heard Fuji are undercutting on machine price but click charges are a little steep.

We just missed the boat here on enquiring with Fuji when we upgraded to the V280 of 12/24.
Can't complain of Xerox though as we're in the capital....... I called in a service tech the other day at 10:30am and the engineer came in the door at 11:45.

Im on 2.5p per click colour which compares well to what xerox were charging and I got what I consider a good deal on the machine as they are trying hard to get xerox machines out.
Hi Chris, we're in the north west too...can I ask who you got your Fuji from? Was it direct? (Feel free to pm me if you don't want to share publicly).

Thanks

Hi.

No problems sharing at all. We got it through JetTech, they not fuji direct but are fuji adjacent! Toner etc is ordered through them and I get a pallet delivered every month if required. Faults go to fuji direct.

I do wish I held off for 6 months as the new machines have come out which do away with the btr in favour of a belt but other than that and the 5th colour there isn't a lot in it by all accounts.

Hope that helps
