    The verdict? KM c8000 v Xerox 1000

The comparison doesn't make too much sense as long as the machines are from different class. I haven't seen "real" samples from c8000, but I've seen from 800/1000. X800 impressed me alot (test files, 50% solids, single&mixed).

Oce and KM selling same box

I am quite sure that 6501 won't be at sale in three years, I expect to be discontinued in less than 12 months.

    Perfect Binder Specs

Based on my knowledge if you are using PUR then you should have an even 0.4-0.6 mm film. I don't have an idea about the rest of the specs, sorry...

    Printer 300gsm No Idea

You should look to subcontract the production, it doesn't make sense to look for equipment. A printer that can do such jobs cost a lot more.

    MGI vs Indigo

In this thread I see many people that have great knowledge about MGI and I would be happy to have some more details about that machine: - DP60 Pro is a reengineered Konika Minolta 6501 engine? I've seen that statement on the forum but nobody confirmed it. Also the specs for DP60 (not PRO) are...

    looking for a new machine

new machine new machine In most cases, average monthly print volume is 30% duty cycle. So, if that machine has 70000 click duty cycle, you should look at that machine if you plane to print no more than 25000 on monthly basis. That's my personal opinion.

    BizHub C450P vs. BizHub C352P

look also at DC252, there is a price difference.... for X700/KM6501 you need more than 50k A4 to become resonable to have such eq.... PS Colorqube is not designed to print on coated paper, the wax will crack if you want to use that machine for book covers.

    Xerox Color 1000 Press

Xerox 1000 Xerox 1000 Hi guys, I admire you for supporting your employees, but believe me, most of us want to have some more details and opinions on that topic and I personally wasted like 15 minutes with your argue. That's ridiculous it makes no sense to compare trucks with Mini's, they are...

    Web to Print and PURLs

w2p w2p That would be a complex system, not only a "program". Except PURL, you will find a good sollution from Hiflex with W2P and MIS integrated along with EFI (own w2p, integrated with Hagen). It might be possibile to integrate an XMPie with Hagen, that would be one of the best...

What is wrong with Roland R300?

R300 R300 To be honest in my opinion R300 is a total failure for Man. 500 and 700 are great machines, I've had a 500 and run it like hell without major issues except electrical part where I've had some troubles. R300 is for below the other presses from Roland taking in consideration not only...
