    KM C8000 color gradient

Its got nothing to do with the rip or the copier. your file size is too small. you cant have detail printing at 1200 dpi with a file that is under 1 meg. Download a high res 5 meg file from Istock and print it. I am willing to bet it looks fine. Make sure you aren't creating pdfs with the...

You do realize a copier is an electrostatic device? Metallic foil and high voltage charges usually don't mix well. This will void your service agreement on most machines.

    Unresolved KM 8000 Quality Issues

The C8000 has a hard transfer roller/belt, so guess what it doesn't fill in the gaps on textured stock. The C6501 has a soft transfer transfer roller and is able to fill rough surfaced stock. Same goes for cheap offset text. Where the machine does great is smooth, bright digital stocks which is...

Creo Ic-304s are relatively rare, most everyone bought fierys. That being said unlike Fiery its a standard computer, the only thing unique about it is the video output card. You can still get them from Creo but its cheaper to find a used Creo whole. Like Fiery the video output card is probably...

    Konica GBC Issues....anyone?

GBC makes these units for all of the copier companies, the dies wear out and have to be constantly cleaned and lubricated. There is a new long life dieset that is available but very pricey. Good luck finding a heavy duty inline punch for a copier that isn't made by GBC.

    My KM C8000 Prints Scrolls

Paper curl comes from high moisture content in the paper, not a problem we have in the prairies. Try changing the curl function or outside fusing temperature in the paper settings. If that doesn't improve it try a different stock and see if you get different results.

    RIP IC-601 from Konica Minolta

lets try this again.... the choices are IC-601, IC-307 or IC-306 for the 70HC. The 601 takes PPML v2.1 files, can be operated through the touch panel of the copier and ties into the inline spectrophotometers in the RU unit of the machine.
