Depending on how intelligent the AI actually is, simply mentioning the name of the qualification you don't have and thinking about how you structure the words may weight things in your favour.
It will see that as trying for 30 years to get a college degree.
After over 40 years in the print & mail industry, many of which were involved with designing (misleading) direct mail copy, your resume' should say something like:
In my (almost) 20 years of experience in pre-press, I have often seen people for whom their 30 years of experience were 30 years repeating the same mistakes…
Yeah, but, there's something to be said about longevity, and.....consistency.
If you stay in it for another 10 years, maybe you can join their group!
I gave up almost 13 years ago, tired of trying to explain the basics of printing to so called "designers" with years of "experience" who even do not know what is a bleed, or a margin, or made their pages with Photoshop or Publisher and use crappy jpeg logos!!!
