Hi. We have just noticed an odd problem with our duplo. When we are slitting narrow items (55mm) 3 across an srA3sheet the centre run is too narrow by about 5mm. I know the correct answer is to get it serviced and adjusted but is there any adjustments we can make to try and make it better...

Hi all. I have a 2500 page doc that I need to print double sided and fold every 2 printed pages. I know I can split the pdf into 4 pages and print but I am wondering if I can do this in fiery without splitting the document. I have a versant 80 with external fiery. Cheers Chris.

Hi. I have a 2 knife trimmer that is missing the wiring harness that connects to the 4 pin lead from the trimmer (and connects to the square fold). Does anybody happen to know the part number for this lead OR can anybody supply this harness for me Or can anybody take some high resolution...

This! I did a job last year where I was plagued by static holding the sheets together and dragging double feeds through. It got so bad I had to stand and separate out each page of the book and restack the pile. Thankfully it was only 50 books or so but it was annoying!

If your booklet is a 16 page booklet that is 4 a4 pages so I create a 4page BLANK document and print it to the hold queue on the fiery. Once in the fiery I then tell it which tray my "blanks" are coming from and set the fold and staple options. - it might not be the best way or the easiest way...

What we do, is just create a blank pdf with the number of flat pages in the booklet and send it to the queue on cws. And it just prints it. Have u tried that

We print 2 up on sra3 and trim out and then back through either the bypass tray or the impose tray to fold and staple. Face trim on either the square fold or the guillotine. We have a versant 80 and I have checked and it doesn't charge us for blank clicks.

I have checked the counters in service and mine has done around 2.9million it probably deserves a new cutter unit!

Thanks. I have spoken with Duplo who don't sell the blades separately but do sell a whole guillotine module for £550 which isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I see no harm in attempting to remove the blades and getting them sharpened and see if it works out.

The biggest problem we have with canva files is customers using the wrong size eg. US size for UK business cards or a3 instead of a5 etc. It causes loads of niggling little issues that such the life out of us!

I agree 100% we have a couple of photo kiosks that are dead easy to use and People are reluctant to use them. It's more wishful thinking.

Bah! Shouldn't have said anything my massively overlife yellow drum finally but the dust. I am thinking of donating it to a museum as it must be the only one in recent history to go well beyond life!. Just hope the new one I put in lasts at least its rated life.

I'm not on contract so I buy all my drums, I have a drum in the yellow spot that just refuses to die that is at about 180% life and I refuse to swap it out until it becomes unacceptable. Other drums I am losing at anywhere between 20-50% where they start marking the print.

I agree totally and from my point of view I see it as a "punishment charge 🤣 " for NOT taking the contract on the machine when I bought the blasted thing - I only saved about £1k on the purchase price and have spent WAY more than that on consumables, repairs & upkeep on the thing. Its all up in...

Hi. Nope. They are all within spec. However if they they replace all of that then I would have no complaints at all. i guess I'm just looking for confirmation that they are actually do some thing for the money I am giving them.

You see, that's the worry. Everything that has worn or reached end of life has been replaced when expected. So am I giving xerox £3k for them to give it a once over and not replace anything! It's a tough choice to make. I understand the need for them to varify the state of the machine but...
