Cp 85 Cp 85 Ours used to do that. I would pour water over the gears to clean out the build up and it would quiet down. It hasn't done it since we did finally replace them......

We just got 5.5 and it comes with the 6 upgrade.......

Isn't there a setting to change in Inspire? (not knowing anything about Inspire) but i would be afraid of running into text reflows.....

what is the resolution of the images? are they being placed into a document? and what do you have for image quality settings at the printer?

We are also GraCol G7 Certified and running Alwan. Very stable, many good controls, eliminated the 300 plus TIC that would pucker the press sheets. You can select how big or little of an area you want to affect. I recommend it.

I also use InDesign. An Excel file for numbering is easy to create. Then find DataMerge under Automate to link the data file. When you are ready to export, use the create PDF right on the Datamerge window. You can print as cut / stack on the Fiery (or CREO). REMEMBER - if your customer wants...

I run the TS gum about 2 months (+) and add distilled water in the sixth week when the solution starts to get thick. Definitely do a good job cleaning the processor! Have also experienced noisy rollers due to build up in the teeth of the drive gears.

I got a reply from Enfocus tech support - it is a 'known' issue that Adobe is working on. I can't understand why a reinstall would not work. At least we had 8 to fall back on.
