    Estimating software

What software does everyone use? I'm looking into a solution for my current shop. I've used PowerQuote at another shop, but wanted to get suggestions for what else is out there. Thanks.

    Konica C8000

I am also in NY with a 6500 with 3 mil clicks on it... did you upgrade current lease or add a 2nd machine? If you upgraded, how much extra was it if you don't mind me asking.

    KM 1200 vs OCE 4120

Konica seems understaffed. In our area, there are only 2 color techs and they are constantly swamped and overworked.

Image Jitter on 12pt using KM 6500

I somewhat fixed it by setting second transfer to low and making separation DC -30. It still wasn't completely gone, so I put separation AC on -15 or so (I think offhand). Still there but alot less noticeable. The paper was cut for us to 13x19 from 24x40, so the grain is probably long. Can't...

Image Jitter on 12pt using KM 6500

How can I fix this? The techs solution was changing the registration loop to -85, which fixed it for a little. Now it's back as bad as ever. It happens between the 3-5 inch from trail edge area. (using 13x19 12pt. carolina).

    Quite Imposing bug?

I noticed that when I impose using Quite Imposing my image shrinks a little in one direction. I thought it was my copier but it happens on multiple machines. For example, 8.5 x 11 2 up on 12x18 will become either 8.45x11 or 8.5x10.95. Very rarely it will be 8.45x10.95. Happens on KM 6500, Canon...

    KM C6500 Regristration issues

This happens to us all the time. Techs can't seem to fix it 100% of the time, only sometimes. It also skews like hell, but they can't fix that either. I have to skew the paper in my cutter to make it cut straight. Yesterday I had a job shift 5 of 25 sheets down .25 inches.

Anyone know where to buy pre-made vector designs with a counter display book?

So what you want is a like binder with all the templates in it? So customers can browse? I don't know of any that sell that, but you could make one yourself.

Any other thoughts on it? I'm also looking into this machine.

    Creo and KM6500 Problems

Wait... you said I can change it by stock then said it shouldn't move regardless of stock. I'm confused.

    Creo and KM6500 Problems

I'm not talking about the same file... i'm comparing sizes and saying it happens to one and not the other. Yes. Can I change the margin by weight or just by tray? I use tray 5 for multiple coated stocks and it only happens on heavy cover stock.

    Canon C9075

StrikTenn, is the 9075 comparable to the 6500? I have a CLC 3900 and want to replace it with one of these new machines.

    Creo and KM6500 Problems

I'm saying that it doesn't happen on 5x7 files but does on 4x6. My techs said it wasn't the transfer pressure and that it was something causing the paper to buckle too much and they couldnt adjust it without messing up other stocks. I'll look into the transfer paper. Any idea about the image...
