There is a product out there called "Static Cord". I use it sometimes, but have had it for a long time, so no idea where to get it anymore? You could also try using antistatic sheets for the dyer...it does work.

White spots Roland 308 printing 4/4

I've used two types of cleaners for these kind of cylinders. The cheapest one, Easy-off oven cleaner, the liquid(not the spray). Cleans like a damn, but the smell can be a bit much, even for a pressman! The other one, which is more expensive, but works well and can be left on overnight for a...

    Strike-Through tips. . .

You are very correct ymckman. The pair is almost as important as the product, especially with UV. If you use the wrong products together, you can get effects such as "orange peel", or "texture". Actega makes a great line of these special effects. Run varnish & water a bit higher, but yes, watch...

UV versus AQ - seeking your professional advice

I think that this is one for the experts like "Gordo". He has all or most of the technical info on stuff like this. But, in my opinion and experience, UV coating & varnishes are more green than AQ and conventional varnishes because they contain no VOC's. No gases are released when they dry...

    sheetfeed rollers

Our Bottcher rollers lasted for 2-3 years, with a good roller maintenance program(Febo & CalciumFix). We also used a UV wash always. The Rotadyne rollers lasted less than a year( good quality.. unfortunately still using them now.) They have scratching all over them and are uneven. We are using...
