Lol. Definitely for niche jobs. I found the clear to be quite tame for a spot UV offering. I think if it had better coverage that would be a better seller. Can hardly see it unless you hold it to a light.

Combo of both I suppose. The 7200,if I’m not mistaken, was created for Nike and released for sale to the trade after 3-4 years. The 5th color was developed to accommodate Nike’s neon green I believe.

Another shop has the 7200 and I do all their heavy substrate overflow and the quality is grainy compared to my smooth 9110 color. I even found a good way to make gradients look way better on it. I advised them not to purchase the 7200 and just get the 9200 but that white and clear dazzled...

Problem solved. Gap in pressure and fuser roller widened. We run heavy stocks and that’s a result. There is a bulletin techs have for fix but more than likely need new rollers on both fuser units. Swapped out fusers with another shop and no issues at all.

We had a bottle completely fall apart on us….operator was lightly shaking it……it was a complete catastrophe and a pain to clean it all up.

Has to be roller tension or bearing the more I read about it but what gets me is that it’s affecting two different fusers.

My buddy that I mentioned would rather have gotten the 9200 and had the speed than the novelty of the 5th color is what he told me. I looked at one but decided on a 9110 that gives me the 750,000 clicks per month I need.

I know another shop with the 7200 and that 5th color spot UV is pretty weak if you ask me. I would get samples and them proceed. They mostly use the 5th for white, which in my opinion is a better option.

This does not look like a production unit.....paper path is too short and all hell can break loose. The 9100 and 9200 are decent machines....this is a step back. The registration bit is a croc.
