Acrobat 9 - Blue Gradients - Weird Display

Hello all,

I've got an issue with blue gradients in Acrobat. I'm getting an ugly green band in the middle of them that seems to show up only on screen. They seem to be fine if I open them in Acrobat 7, but Acrobat 9 gives me the green banding. See the attached screenshots of the same gradient opened in Acro 7 & Acro 9.
I've also attached the PDF.
This gradient was created in Indesign, but I've had the same result from a Photoshop gradient.

The files do not print with the green - only shows up on screen.

Any ideas where the green is coming from?

Never mind - Tracked it down to a messed up color profile.

Yep - that will do it every time. It used to bee you could turn off color management completely, which was useful.

I have done the opposite - that is, created an odd custom profile to accomplish a specific thing.
