Adobe PDF file is damaged. How can it be fixed?

Oh yes I just can't go on without this knowledge . . . lol . . either that or . . . I just didn't close the browser window . . .

I would be curious as well. I'll usually try re-writing the PDF first. If that doesn't work or nothing else works I'd probably go back to the artist.
