Agfa Apogee PDF RIP Series 2 v 2

I have reinstalled the rip on win xp and the software is not recognising the dongle (parallel)
If I run the dongle upgrade software , it finds the diongle and can do a log file of the dongle.
Any ideas please

Was the Wibukey driver and software installed?

yes i did .. infact if i go to control panel , i double click the wibu key icon and i can see donle attached.
