Anyone knows what does meaning "ml"

Hello, I am new to the forum.I notice that some companies products using "ml" and some companies using "#"(micro) to measure the paper weight. It's makes so confused.
Example, "2.0 ml polyester base", how to transfer to "micro"?

It means one thousandths of an inch. So 2mil is .020 inches.

Point like point board also is a reference to inches. So a 12pt is .012", 20pt is .020".

You missed a decimal point . . . 2 mil = 0.002 = two thousands of an inch

or it could mean mili liter = 1/1000 of a liter . . . wine bottles frequently come in a750 ml size and also 1.5 L

Also keep in mind that thickness is not weight, two different materials of the same thickness may not have the same weight per square area.

The proper unit is mL, with the capital.

Do you mean micron? It is one thousandth of milimeter, or a millionth of metre. It usually is a measure of thickness. For example, film. Whereas, micro means very small.

Are you sure that 'micro' is what you are looking for? The '#' character synonymous with 'pound' or 'lb' - i.e. 80# Text or 80 lb Text is 'eighty pound text' - as a measure of paper weight...
