batch or global convert cmyk/rgb to spot

Hi, i am a newcomer in the packaging design industry and have a specific
question. Recently i had to order a set of cdi flexoplates for a spot color package job.

The pdf of the artwork was already made by someone else to which i had to make minor
adjustments, then send to flexo company for plates.

The problem was that all the vector objects in the artwork had cmyk fill colors, but it should have been a 100% spot pantone job. So i got wrongly separated flexoplates that where useless.

I have many more such pdf's, containing vector objects in cmyk, they all need to be
100% pantone spots (all pdf's only contain up to max. 4 or 5 colors, so its doable in spots)

Is there a tool,software or plugin that can convert all vector cmyk colors to their spot pantone closest match in one go ?

so : input = pdf with cmyk, output = same pdf, but only spot pantones

Have you tried Pitstop or other product from the Enfocus family ?

Depending on what your art work looks like PitStop can work. However Callas pdfToolbox may work much better for you. I'd be happy to try it for you with Callas pdfToolbox.

I would look at opening in illustrator and usiing recolour artwork… think i wrote a more detailed post on that before. Look up in Illustrator help on the recolour artwork, or get back if you want to know more.
