BIXOLON Europe GmbH, a Label & POS printer manufacturer has launched into the European markets the XT5-40 high performance thermal transfer industrial desktop label printer. According to the company, the XT5-40 mark’s BIXOLON’s first foray into the industrial desktop label printing market.

It’s designed for high volume, and offers various media widths up to 4-inch (114mm), using a flexible media guide. Available models: XT5-40 (203dpi), XT5-43 (300dpi) & XT5-46 (600dpi) print resolution options. The standard model (XT5-40) supports fast data processing & print speeds of up to 14ips (356mm/sec) to produce text, graphics and 1D/2D barcodes.

The printer offers Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Parallel, USB, Serial, Ethernet and 2-USB Host interfaces options. It features convenient Wi-Fi setup directly to a mobile device, straight out of the box. The XT5-40 has a space saving footprint, an aluminum body, a 3.5-inch full color TFT/LCD display, intuitive UI and supports a media roll diameter up to 203mm.
