Epson has announced their new ColorWorks® C6000 series of on-demand color label printers—sold through Epson’s network of authorized partners.

The new ColorWorks C6000 printers deliver a range of capabilities to meet the requirements of the most common industrial and thermal transfer applications. Four & eight-inch models cover the spectrum of label sizes, with 2 models supporting peel-and-present capabilities.

Features:
  • Designed as a color upgrade to black-only thermal transfer printers with similar media handling capabilities, speed, features and connectivity options;
  • Enhanced Productivity—speeds up to 5-inches per second;
  • Image Quality—Up to 1200 dpi resolution with various droplet sizes;
  • Compatible with ZPL II, major middleware, SAP, Windows®, Mac®, and Linux;
  • Remote Printer Management & supports I/O commands for workflow integration;
  • Peel-and-Present capable;
  • Fast, on-demand print-and-apply applications: CW-C6000P & CW-C6500P;
  • Auto Cutter: CW-C6000A & CW-C6500A;
  • Meets BS 5609 certification.
