Bond paper 80 gsm with eco-solvent inks ?

It depends on what you want to print - printing cheap 'n nasty posters with basic text and basic spot colours works fairly well - stay away from gradient fills and photos or textured backgrounds etc - the reason being : much of the ink is absorbed by the paper, so it "bleeds" into the fibers, this also causes the colours of the final print to be faded and not so saturated - especially once it dries / cures / goes over the heater etc - so black comes out light black, red like a faded darkish orange etc. But for cheap 'n nasty quick posters it's fine.

The reason to stay away from photos and gradient fills etc is after printed - because of the absorption - different greens or blues tend to come out looking all the same.

technical Drawings are are also fine as long as you've done your ink drop position calibration nicely - we actually use a 90gsm paper - it isn't coated but it's much finer, smoother, so ink doesn't get absorbed as quick.

That eco solvent ink is really flexible if you have the patience to test media and sometimes just be careful and give extra time to cure… it's surprising what you can print on.
