Looking for suggestions on a good desk top book scanner.
We have a customer that we are now reproducing a good number of books for. There are no digital files available, so we have to shave off the spines, scan and print.
We would be dealing with some common sizes of 5.5 x 8.5 and 6 x 9. Due to the fact that the spines get shaved off, the page size goes under 5.5, so we would need a device that would accept trimmed pages smaller than 5.5" wide and be able to feed and scan as straight as possible. Also looking for the device to be a desk top type model as well.
Any suggestions?
