Hi all
I'm running an old Level 1 Hyphen RIP to a Linotronic L300 and it has started to give me grief!
Recently, only when outputting larger files. It will interpret the page and then I get "Data error Writing C Drive' When I do a check Disk it comes up with C:/RIP/Swap.Fil Allocation error, size adjust.
Smaller files fly through no problems so I'd say the RIP is OK .
Could a dodgy hard drive give this symptom? It is ancient.
Are there any out there old enough to remember running anything this ancient?
I'm a mac man so navigating MS Dos 6 is not comfortable for me.
Any clues would be great.
Cheers
Glenn
