Dot size on plate

Trying to figure out the dot size on plate. 4000 DPI plate setter, 300 LPI screen, what would be the 1% dot size on plate?

In theory the dpi does not matter.
The lpi gives the distance between centers, or 1/300", which would then be the diameter of the 50% dot. So a 1% dot would be 1/50 of that. Do the math.
