Ultimate Partners for automated, on-demand book finishing
- Ultimate & Hunkeler have formed a strategic partnership bringing to market integrated imposition for PSPs using digital inkjet. This solution provides easy setup and configuration of Hunkeler’s Modular Book Block Solution PF7 and SR7 providing precise imposition, layout, page numbering, marks, and barcodes.

- Ultimate & Meccanotecnica have formed a partnership to help printers and binders produce millions of books daily by automating stitching from sheetfed and webfed presses. In 1989, when Ultimate launched the first imposition software, they were bringing book imposition from manual stripping to a computer driven task. http://www.meccatec.it/

Ultimate and Muller Martini partner to bring PDF/VT Imposition to Personalized Books and Magazines
Muller Martini integrates Impostrip® VDP imposition as part of the Connex system, managing the entire manufacturing process from job submission to finished books or magazines, thus offering a better cost-effective solution for book-of-one and personalized magazines. The key element is the way the PDF data from upstream ordering system is handled to produce variable size and quantity copies and build the data with all personalized marks and barcodes for various purposes: tracking and finishing.
