Enfocus has announced the release of Switch-2018 update 2, incorporating many customer requests and fixes.
Highlights include an online, opt-in Insight Dashboard, improvements to the designer & several flow elements, additional features to job boards and performance enhancements.
Online Switch Insight Dashboard
Maintenance customers—opting-in to share usage data with Enfocus—get an Insight Dashboard. The dashboard gives a weekly overview of Switch statistics, including number of files processed, types of flow elements used, how files were received, etc.
Several Switch Designer Improvements, for example—

Several Switch Designer Improvements, for example—
- A more intuitive pop-up tool when hovering. The tool tip now displays the value of the conditional variable,
- The Database Connect element gets major speed improvements,
- The Assemble Job, Mail Send and Problem Jobs elements are receiving additional functionality to simplify flow design.
- Users in the administrator group can now share boards with all available groups,
- The ability to apply a pie chart to History Graphs has been added,
- Folders can now be given a “status” at the end of a flow, allowing job boards to contain a finished count.
- Searchability in the Submit Points of the Web Portal is now possible with instant results.
- Filtering by Job State is supported.
- Scripting improvements have been made to webhook requests and dataset extensions.
