FujiXerox J75 problems

We are an Australian print bureau with a J75 with over 2 million clicks and are having serious problems with: registration, poor fusing, and use of SIQA tool to correct registration and toner fusing. We have had regular technician visits and very little seems to change. The most pressing problem is print speed: if we use Productivity Mode when using 150gsm to 300gsm, we have poor toner fusing. We can even have poor fusing on Standard Mode for either of these grammages. So we end up using Gloss On and Standard Mode just to get the toner to fuse. This will cause printing speed to dramatically slow down not to mention that the prints are darker. When we go to use the SIQA tool to correct registration or Density Adjustment there is usually an error after the test sheets have been scanned. So we can't even get this tool to help the situation. The amount of time we waste has become critical.
Has anyone got any solutions and have had a similar experience with solutions they could offer?

We had a Xerox 700i here in Australia and we couldn't fault the Xerox Technicians. They would do their jobs exactly as required. The problem was that our Xerox 700i was "High Maintenance" and this made for a lot of downtime and servicing to keep the 700i operational. No one told us when we purchased the press it was "High Maintenance".

Why don't you ask for an upgrade to a Versant 80. If they don't come to the party change to another supplier like we did.

We had only 1.3 million impressions on the Xerox 700i. We are very happy with our new Press from another supplier and even happier now the Fiery Server is stable.

Thanks PricelineNegotiator, I saw this article previously, but it just describes only one of the issues without mentioning productivity mode. According to the CED Productivity Mode can be used for grammages above 176gsm. But we get toner peel off, poor toner adhesion as well as mottling. So unless the total coverage is very light, you can't really use Productivity Mode.

Thanks Baldbug, your suggestion of going to a Versant 80 would mean a serious price jump. Is this the case?
