Help!Epson 9600 Ultrachrome

I've had my printer for about 6 months now.
I thought I had my printer working just fine.
Until today...
In my printing preference, I do not have "Epson vidvid" mode.
I do have "Automatic", "Epson sRGB" and "Charts and Graphs"
Also I do not have print quality of "2440 dpi"(as Epson advertised it should"

Is something wrong with my printer?

BTW, my drivers and status monitors are D/L from epson website.

to get max dpi 2440 for the 9600 1st you have to pick photo paper on the driver menu or you will only get 1440 max
