I make regular notepads. After gluing spine I trim 3 edges. Now, I wish to make notepad whose foredge is slanted. Anyone has any idea how to do it?

Sheets need to be cut at different sizes before you pad. Had a paper company do them for their swatch books way back when.

We do something similar to make shingled pressing blocks for use in trimming perfect bound books. We take a handful of chipboard and tilt jog them, clamp by hand and place in guillotine cutter to cut one edge square. This might work for small quantities of pads. Maybe with a jig made up you could get more consistency.

Decide your angle. Rip a piece of wood on a compound miter saw to your angle. Put something heavy on it and some business card magnets on the bottom to resist lifting up and moving around.
