How important is a service contract?

You mean $9,000 per month? Or, $9,000 per year? ($750/mo plus clicks)

$9,000 per month! Total cost was just over $15,000 based on our volume and I figure toner costs will run about $6,000 per month. I realize there are other things involved above and beyond consumables but not $9000 a month worth. And they acted like we were dumb for not seeing the value in that.

It pains me to say, (I'm a staunch supporter of service contracts), but, I'd have probably walked away, too.
