How to get the right color transfering in offset?

Hello!

My printing company is interested in managing of color transfering processes. What is the main factors in measuring colors? Do you use ISO 12647 or GRACoL? How to control colors and do you use a special system of controlling?

Hello!
If you need the shortest make-ready times while keeping ISO 12647 quality you will need a colorbar scanning spectrodensitometer (X-Rite EasyTrax, IntelliTrax or Techkon SpectroDrive - both of them are from ca. EUR 10000 available) and an automatic colour control system, which can control the offset press' console and the measurement device directly, like the Color Key Pro system does.
