As a compliment to their current AQ (aqueous-based) solution, Colordyne Technologies has a new 3600 Series-inkjet Retrofit for UV inks. The UV Retrofit provides a cost-effective method for adding UV color to existing converting equipment.
Their retrofit integrates digital printing onto a wide variety of existing flexo presses, web handling and converting systems; and provides label & packaging converters an affordable path to hybrid printing for industrial, personal care, pharmaceutical, security, health & beauty, automotive, safety, chemical, food and beverage applications.
Available now, the 600 by 600 dpi, 3600 Series UV is available in 8.5“ (216 mm) & 12.75“ (324 mm) print widths, and prints CMYK plus white at speeds up to 246 fpm (75 meters/minute).
