Kirk Rudy WaveJet Ink?

We were notified last year that our WaveJet was deemed "end of life". No more parts. No more consumables, i.e. ink or cleaner. BUT... we were also told don't stock up as there will be plenty for the forseeable future. Went to order a gallon of black ink and guess what, none available. They did this with the WinkJet so we upgraded to a NetJet. Then we added a WaveJet and lo and behold, they do the same to that system. Now to upgrade to a Phoenix system would be about $130K, using our existing base! What a joke...

Anyone else still running a WaveJet? Have any ideas for or experiences with an aftermarket ink source?

Anyone running inkjets manufactured by someone else? Who? Experiences good or bad?
