Hello, friends I'm GOING CRAZY!!!!. From last 2 years I have a problem with my lotem 800V2. I'm running Lotem 800V2 TSP with Brisque. The PROBLEM: Drum motor stops when expose is running and emergency system aborts the expose when the drum revelations above the limit. Normaly drum running with 900 RPM. Everythyng with Brisque is OK. There is nothing in the Log file, only the drum revelations going down - 880, 850, 830, ..... the end Smile. Change of Drum motor Driver and MCF board not solves the problem. Upgrade to 3.61.02 Lotem software - nothing changed. Interlock system is OK. When the drum motor stops runing the drum power switch stays in ON mode. When I try to expose the plate again everything is ok. I dont know what to do... I have no more ideas.... Kodak engineers can't help to me - They says: Try to change: MCF, drum driver, drum motor.... try to change everythyng..... Yeaaaahhhh GREAT. i have changed everything still the problem exists.

Thanks in advance!

Kala,
I am sory to hear that you are still having probs with your Lotem. I am afraid that these are the things that you will have to do again and agian until the problem goes away:
Drum driver is not comp level P.
MCF board needs replacing.
Drum encoder needs replacing.
Voltage leading to MCF board is too low.
Distribution board may need replacing due to a faulty drum high-speed detector.
I know that you already did some of these before. There is no other solution to this problem. Good luck.

I changed the drum drive bd until 3 times, when my customer has this problem.
And the people from factory in Herzlia just said, pls, try the other version.
So the 3rd change is ok until now.
Exactly if you have this problem , you must have min 3 drum drive bd with different versions.

You are correct. It looks like there was an intermittent problem with the ELMO and the MCF board, so updated versions were brought out.
By the way Kodak have moved to Petach Tikva a few years ago.

Hi

Couldnt understand try the other version - other version means what software or from hardware side.
3rd change means what
what version of drum driver board shorts your customer problem
Awaiting for your reply

Kala,

Look at the REv. levels of the boards, i.e. K, L etc.
