All good advice. Be careful of the 3GB switch if you are using WinXP Pro. It is included with Service Pac 3 native so if you edit to add the switch you will completely lock up the PC. The GPS upgrade with Navigator will give you what you need in terms of ripping speed / performance as well as variable rooming of the jobs and includes remote viewers that can be used on 2 other computers.
With Nav. 8 being a multithreaded application, a dual core or multiprocessor system makes a hugh difference.
BTW - The Rampage RIP is a harlequin at it's base since ver. 8 of Rampage, they just use there own GUI.
