Offset preprinted #80 gloss through digital

Hi,

I am running shells that were printed on an offset press through a digital laser Ricoh pro c5100s. Every time I start running the job the first 10 have no issues but after that the toner starts blotching (images attached).

Approx the first 10 come out fine:

and then this starts to happen:

Is this an issue with the temperature of the fuser?

Thanks!

Maybe to probably.
Test hypothesis by:
Confirm the 'paper' settings are correct ie 'coated, preprinted.'
Test with settings for 'lighter, coated, preprinted' paper.
If the results are better then probably.
Last item to consider - is the job AQ or UV coated or have an overabundance of spray powder?
Some/one of these could maybe lead to picking issues.
YMMV

I have only seen this happen when there is a flood coat (aqueous). Any coating needs to be k/o so the digital image can be placed on the original substrate surface.
